LAHORE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Lahore Institute of Medical Sciences (LIMS) is a not-for-profit (NPO) organisation established by the founders of the Indus Hospital Jubilee Town, Lahore in collaboration with Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN).
The vision of LIMS and IHHN is to become a leading institution in the field of healthcare, education of health sciences, research and innovation, known for its excellence in providing quality healthcare service free of charge indiscriminately to all.
LIMS / IHHN’s mission is to become a center of excellence that provides a comprehensive range of healthcare services including Medical Colleges, College of Natural Medicine, Dental College, Nursing School, School of Allied Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy, Central Pathology, Research & Development Center, Innovation Lab, Community Center, Student & Faculty Hostels, Staff Residences etc. Our aim is to cultivate a culture of innovation, research, and development that enables us to deliver cutting-edge healthcare services to our patients.
We aspire to build a healthy, educated, and happier Pakistan, where healthcare services are accessible to all, regardless of their social or economic background. We believe that healthcare is a basic human right and our vision is to make it a reality for everyone.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Qarshi, Mr. Javed Arshad Bhatti and Mr. Mian Mohammad Ahsan have been engaged in philanthropic work for many decades, with a focus on a wide range of areas including healthcare, education, shelter, disaster relief, and food programs.
They had been working separately, but recognized the synergies in their missions and visions, and decided to collaborate by incorporation of Lahore Institute of Medical Sciences (LIMS) to create an impact in the field of Healthcare and Education. The decision to join hands was driven by the desire to achieve greater impact, expand the reach, and promote a culture of excellence and innovation. Their shared commitment to serve the underprivileged communities in Pakistan made the collaboration all the more meaningful.
Together, they invited other like-minded individuals and organizations, resultantly Mr. S.M.Pervez and IHHN became partners in LIMS. On 2nd September 2023, we are honoured that Mr. Mohammad Munir Malik & Associates became partners with a significant contribution commitment of US Dollar 30 Million for completion of the 600 Bedded Jubilee Town Hospital Project.
